There will be two dance floors this year!
Unfortunately there will not be enough space in our big studio this year,  but we've arranged for a second dance floor for the parties.
 
At Dtension (the bigger dance floor) we will be mostly focused on Bachata, but there will of course be other styles of music in between, like Salsa, Merengue, West Coast Swing etc.
 
In "Teater Sesam's" "Lilla Scenen" we will mostly have Zouk, Kizomba, but we will of course play Bachata and other music too. This is just about the focus of the different dance floors.
 
Friday
On Friday before the party - we will invite you all for two workshops. The first workshop will be held between 19:00 - 20:00, and the second workshop between 20:00 - 21:00. After the workshops the party will start on both dance floors. Party between 21:00 - 02:00!

Saturday
The Saturday party will start at 21:00 with our small "show case" where our teachers will perform for us what they travel around the world to show. As we would like to use as much time as possible to dance - we will start the shows at 21:00. Please be there at least 15 minutes before. Again - there will be two dance floors; at Dtension and at "Lilla Scenen". Party between 21:00 - 02:00!

Sunday
On Sunday we will have the "farewell party". It is not fun at all to leave the festival when using three different studios, and everybody just dissapears after the weekend. Because of that - we ask you all to come to Dtension this evening (which will be the ONLY dance floor on Sunday)  for our last party. Say goodbye to your new friends - and have fun for the last time at the Swedish Bachata Festival -2011 edition. Party between 21:00 - 01:00!

DJ Sören loves to play most types of latin dance music; salsa, bachata, chachachá, zouk ... old or new. Often slightly improved in the computer for maximum dance feeling. Continually searches for and brings forward old masterpieces that are not often played. There are still many "smokers" out there waiting to be discovered! Has played for 10 years at the local Oceanen club in Gothenburg, all the Gothenburg Salsa Congresses, most of the Stockholm ones, the Salsa Boat between Stockholm and Åbo, always at Liseberg during the summer etc. A specialty is to remember many dancers' favorite tunes to make them happy!
Julian Mr M First sent shock waves running through the Latin Music scene back in 2002 when he started teaching Salsa and DJing at Latino Sound,
the biggest weekly salsa night in the UK at the time, right in the middle of London, Leicester Square.

He quickly went on to build his reputation as one of the most in demand DJ’s on the Salsa Circuit both within the UK and Europe as well as internationally in country’s as far as Pakistan and Hong Kong.
In 2005 he was invited to teach and DJ salsa in Egypt's Red Sea Riviera at the world famous club Pacha in Sharm-el-Sheik after which there was no stopping him boasting appearances at clubs and events including Glastonbury Festival, UK, Oxygen Festival, Ireland and Club Cheyenne Alicante, Spain but to name a few, as well as presenting and MCing for some of the biggest names in Salsa and Latin Music including Tito Nieves, Willie Colon, Gran Combo de Puerto Rico, Oscar de Leon, Jerry Rivera, Rey Ruiz, Tego Calderon, Hector el Father and the list goes on...
